Messin' With The Boys

I have seen the MESSIN' WITH THE BOYS cd on ebay and I've also seen one called YOUNG AND WILD.
I get the impression they are both the same album but with different packaging.
Is there any reason I might prefer one over the other such as bonus tracks?
There was a cool poster from the original album too but it went for $21.00 tonight. That is more than I could afford darn it!

Dear Todd,
I'm so glad you brought this up. Young and Wild is a Kim Fowley BOOT LEG! Kim had nothing to do with my Capitol record deal, he was finally out of my life. So 6 years ago he had to STEAL my record and continue to rip me off!
The bonus tracks on Messin are tracks I was thinking of for the next record that didn't happen. Kim used throw away stuff and called it bonus tracks. The sad thing is, kim has MADE MONEY on this record of mine... more then I have.
Please don't buy his CD.

Good question Todd. I would have told you the same thing but Cherie put it so much better than I could have!
I sent you a private message with something else you should know but I'm definitely glad to see new fans posting questions on the board.
Cherie has had a very interesting career with lots of little nuances (and big ones) that make for great CConversation! That's what it's all about my friend!
She has come through it all and emerged as a wonderful human being!

BTW the bonus tracks on 'Messin' With The Boys' are excellent, as is that entire CD!
I would have loved the poster too. It looked totally awesome 4 sure! Thanks to Le Hawkeye for bringing it to our attention!

I have to add that Fowley didn't even have the decency to use the master tapes of the ''bonus tracks''on his rip off cd. He took them directly from the vinyl source as you can hear crackling and hiss in the background. Once a con artist, always a con artist..

Thanks for letting me know the difference in the two discs Cherie.
I am happy to say I WILL NOT buy the bootleg one. I do look forward to hearing you singing with your twin sister though so I'll definitely bid on the real one.
That's really awful that Kim Fowley would do something like that to you. He must be a real **** !
I can't believe I'm actually talking to you. I've been having lots of fun on this board and I think it's really great that you post here.
